Most museums and other attractions within walking distance. Situated in a very upscale, safe area with great nightlife. Cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay."

"This has not been renovated since the Reagan years and the decor has a decidedly 80s vibe. At first I regretted my choice but the rooms were spacious, with a separate eat in kitchen and dressing area, and the staff was so nice that it made the stay quite pleasant. Yes, if you are into decor this place could really use a refresh but it’s clean, safe, with friendly staff and conveniently located next to GW. "

"Historical property. Our room was showing age and lack of maintenance. There were pits in the bathroom floor. A wall unit was partially falling out from the wall—not sure what it was. Staff was exceptional, always giving 100 percent to serve the guest. Good location for walking to almost all sites. "

The deluxe rooms were very basic and I still don’t understand what the upgrade was that we paid for was. There is absolutely no room service in the hotel. I was quite surprised by that. The breakfast buffet was overpriced, but had the basics. The advertisement for the hotel gave me the impression that it was on the water, but it absolutely is not. You have to cross a highway to get to the water. Additionally they advertise a food court below the hotel, but don’t be fooled, it is reminiscent of something from the USSR, stark and depressing. If you think 1990s Holiday Inn, you will get the overall feel for this hotel. Surprising for a Hilton, but priced as such, I suppose. "
