Der Wellnessbereich ist grundsätzlich schön, leider ist der Pool-/Schwimmbereich nicht vom Saunabereich getrennt, weshalb der Lautstärkepegel sowohl im Saunabereich als auch im Ruhebereich regelmäßig hoch war. Auch die Glastür zum Ruhebereich hilft hier nicht. Ebenfalls lief im Ruhebereich dauerhaft Musik, zwar relativ leise, aber dennoch meiner Meinung nach etwas störend. "Wir können das Hotel insgesamt weiterempfehlen – die Zimmer waren sauber, das Personal freundlich und die Lage gut. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist das sehr schwache WLAN-Signal, das in unserem Zimmer kaum nutzbar war. Wer auf eine stabile Internetverbindung angewiesen ist, sollte das berücksichtigen."
"Don't plan on skiing early, as the front desk manager refuses to check you out before 8 am. Also, parking is limited and the property is totally overpriced for its condition.
The front desk manager on March 2, 2025 literally yelled at guests who wanted to check out at 7:35 am, despite assurances from the previous day's shift. Never seen any Hotel staff in the world being that unprofessional and angry!!"
"Oberstdorf is a beautiful hiking paradise with plenty of Hotels. Hence there is no need to stay in the sub-par Fuggerhof where you are put into a basement room while the unfriendly front desk staff tries to up-sell you into an above ground room - as if that were a special feature. Just to be clear - there was no mention of below ground rooms during booking and the basement room wasn't a walkout basement but did have a small window at the top of the wall, eye-level with the grass roots of the ill...

Anyway, great hotel in a perfect location, and enough parking available once you suss out the way by car to the hotel in the pedestrian zone. Basically, highly recommended and we hope to be back sooner than the next 6 years. Thanks to all staff in the hotel. We even had a pack up breakfast for the final day as we had to leave for Munich airport before breakfast started"
