"A recently refurbished hotel. Room was lovely and clean, just one small point - only one pillow which was hard. Restaurant and reception staff were excellent. Certainly one to return to. "

"Lovely stay. Excellent gym and pool facilities. Lovely clean room. I would say the squeaky floorboards are a bit of an annoyance when there are people above you as it is very loud. Also not sure if there was limited staff at breakfast but there was a lot of waiting around for plates, bowls, food, teabags, all of which kept running out as soon as they were replaced. Overall we enjoyed our stay though...the facilities definitely made it for us"

"For a three bedroom (sleeps six) cottage this is great value. It's generally in satisfactory condition. OK, the garden and cottage could do with sprucing up a bit but it's a good place to stay. There is plenty of car parking space around the back, and a large village (Kelsall) two miles away"
