"The staff had my reservation out and read when i arrived. It was a bicycle trip and it got dirty on the wet trail that day. The desk cleck help me find a place to get it cleaned up. She also said i would find restaurants in the area of the car wash. I don't know how many cyclist they see but everyone seemed will to help out. Thank you. I didn't use the pool. I was not up for swimming this trip. Breakfast had a good selection. The room was very clean and comfortable"

"We fully enjoyed this little lake house for what we needed. The owners have done a great job with a total renovation of an older house. They have maximized every inch into a very efficient, comfortable and well furnished space. The kitchen is the most furnished in every way that we have encountered. We give 5 stars for the house, the fact that it is right on the lake with beautiful views of sunsets and rises, offers kayaks and paddle boards and a small hot tub, everything we were looking for. The only drawback for us was the lack of an umbrella or awning on the deck which made it difficult to fully enjoy sitting and eating on the deck during the mid day when the sun is overhead. We understood the owners reasoning that umbrellas are a liability issue which is why we still give a 5 rating but think it’s important for renters to know."

"The property was prefect for fishing get away, very clean and well-appointed to make it easy stay. The location is wonderful with easy access to fishing, Viroqua and Lacross.The view is fantastic of the Timber Coulee valley!"
