I loved that we were close enough to everything- within a 15 minute walk to major landmarks, still had local cafe/ restaurants and also far enough away from the busy streets. It was all around a perfect stay for Florence.

The apartment was located close enough to the centre where everything was about a 20-30 min walk away. Very cute and clean apartment. The TV had Netflix access, which was awesome for rainy days we stayed in for. The shower was a bit small and had no shelves inside for shampoo/soap so we had to open the door to grab it from the sink. The washing machine was alright, fairly small, there was no detergent and it took about 2 hours for each load. There’s also no dryer. We ended up using the laundry mat next door, which washed and dried things in 30min-1hr. Overall would recommend the apartment.

Our stay here was unfortunately disappointing. The apartment is quite far from Florence’s main landmarks, and the street leading to the building felt very shady and uncomfortable to walk through, especially at night. The host was also very pushy about collecting the city tax. I had already told him I would pay it, but we were traveling from city to city and I simply hadn’t had the chance yet. Despite assuring him I would send the payment as soon as I could, he continued to pressure us. The bathroom was extremely small and didn’t feel clean. There is no real air conditioning, only a portable cooling unit that barely made a difference. As a result, the bedroom was unbearably hot, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. We couldn’t even sleep comfortably because it’s just too loud outside. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again. If your budget allows, I’d recommend booking a different place in Florence that’s more comfortable and in a better location.

The owners are very attentive and were able to give us everything we needed quickly.The apartment is in a good location.And unfortunately, from here it kind of goes downhill… cold, musty, and the bathroom has mould (they cover some of it up with silicone) and it smells like cat pee, we bought an air freshener to try to help the smell. Unfortunately there is no ventilation in the bathroom, the shower is very small and when you sit in the toilet, your elbow hits the shower door. The apartment is on a very busy and loud street… easy bus access!The mattress of the bed needs to be replaced, it sinks in the middle.There is limited power, you can only run a few things at a time or you trip the breakers.It was nice to have the use of a washing machine, and it was very convenient to have a laundry mat next door to pay for a dryer, as there is no clothesline in the apartment for drying.The apartment is over priced for what you’re getting.

The Location is perfect and great communication with the host. We unfortunately had some water problems that impacted our only full day in Florence so that was dissapointing. The shower is functional but quite dated. The coffee equipment and supplies were awesome.
