The space
The La Guelfa Apartment is a one-bedroom unit on the first floor of a residential complex located in the heart of the historic center, featuring a private garden, private garage, and bike parking available to residents—all of which have been very recently renovated. The location and the green spaces surrounding the entire property make it a quiet, safe, and peaceful place—perfect for couples but also suitable for families thanks to the sofa bed, which provides space for two additional people.
The apartment is equipped with all the amenities, including independent heating, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and an iron and ironing board.

- Living room with a two-seater sofa bed and a pouf that can be unfolded to provide an additional sleeping space, LCD TV, induction cooktop, electric oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, capsule espresso machine or cold beverage maker, American coffee maker, and everything you need to cook and eat comfortably at home. Upon arrival, you’ll also find fruit, espresso capsules, tea, as well as water, individual sugar packets, salt, and oil to cover your immediate needs.
- Bedroom with a double bed and a large closet
- Bathroom with a spacious shower and a hair dryer
- Private garden with a table and gazebo, perfect for peaceful outdoor breakfasts or romantic candlelit dinners
- Building laundry room with coin-operated washers and dryers in the building’s basement, accessible by elevator or stairs
- Currently, the private garage in the basement is not accessible due to roadwork; it is not possible to drive into the courtyard until the end of December 2023.
To address this issue, we provide a complimentary parking service located a short distance from the apartment.
The garage is accessible via elevator or stairs and is included in the price from October through February.
During the rest of the year, from March to September, the cost is €20.00 per day.

Entire house, private garden, bike parking. Garage access is available only upon request and upon payment of an additional fee.
Other things to keep in mind
- Please let us know your arrival time at least a couple of days in advance so we can arrange key pickup
- Mandatory final cleaning: €40 included in the total booking cost
- Bed linens and towels included
- If you plan to arrive by car, please let us know. Access to the Florence city center can be difficult if you are unfamiliar with the area. There is a specific route to reach the apartment without entering the ZTL (Restricted Traffic Zone). We are available for further information at
- Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment but is allowed in the garden area
- LATE CHECK-IN: Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. For late-night arrivals, the following surcharges apply: €20.00 from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM; €35.00 from 10:00 PM to midnight; €50.00 after midnight.
