Charming apartment in the centre of Florence

  • Read all reviews of this nice apartment (managed directly by the owners - NO RENTAL SOCIETIES- authorized by the Municipality of Florence) is located near the famous square S.Croce plenty of nice shops, cafes & restaurants. We have an agreement with Trattoria I Fratellini, near by the apartment, for a 10% off. The apartment (65sq m) is on the 2nd floor without elevator of an old Florentine building. A small balcony with a view on the roof of Florence is equipped with a table & chairs and offer a cosy corner for nice dinners by candlelight. We have furnished the apartment with personal taste & lot of care in the particulars equipping it with all the needs for a comfortable living (internet flat,heating,air conditioning, iron, toaster, minipimer, milk shaker, hair-drier).The apartment is composed by a living room with a sofa bed (TV LCD 37’, home-theatre, DVD) dining area & separated kitchen corner (4 flames, oven, fridge,freezer,microwave) a large bedroom with queensize bed , storage room with a washing machine, large bathroom with shower. The price is all inclusive and we will offer to you as present a set of bath amenities. Please read our reviews, it is the best way to appreciate our flat! You will meet the owners ( not a rental agency) that will give you the keys and show this beautiful apartment.

Cozy chic

We were delighted with the cozy and chic apartment and truly enjoyed our stay. Elena was very accommodating and sweet. Would definitely stay there again!

Great place

Location is great, a short walk to plazas (about 30 to Duomo), lots of restaurants and taxi stands. The host were great about answering questions in advance and meeting us at checkin to help explain anything.

Awesome flat

Location was tucked away in a nice quiet neighborhood, close to everything but not so close you have to deal with the noise of the city. flat was everything on listing and more. Clean, nicely decorated with everything we needed to enjoy Florence. I highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay at this property! We were only here for two nights, but this apartment would be perfect even for a longer stay. We were able to do laundry, had access to a full kitchen, functional air conditioning was a definite bonus, and a beautiful balcony view to top it all off. The apartment was within walking distance of lots of touristy stuff and if you prefer not to walk there was also a bus station just down the road. We will definitely be keeping this property in mind for future trips!

Beautiful apartment near the river in Florence, close to public transport and so many restaurants. Walkable to many attractions including Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, Duomo. Clean and roomy and Elena communicates well and quickly - highly recommend!!

Fantastic flat in Santa Croce neighborhood

The flat was comfortable, cozy and convenient. There were so many homey touches that were so helpful when we first got there. Basic cooking supplies, lovely basket of toiletries in the bathroom in case we left something at home. We loved the little rooftop terrace too. We stayed for over a week and it was really comfortable. Julia was helpful and responded really quickly to any and all questions we had.

Nice stay

The flat had everything we needed for a short stay in Florence. It is about a 20 minute walk from the train station. Not fancy, but reasonably comfortable. The curtains in the bedroom are very sheer!

Florence apt

Apartment is in a great location, close to everything. The nice thing is that it is on quiet street, so no noise at night. Only improvement would be a shade or thicker curtains in the bedroom. Sun comes through early in the morning. Loved the little rooftop table and chairs

Great place!

This property served us very well in Florence. It's a great location, close to everything and had all the necessary amenities required for a great stay. We were greeted by the owner's brother in law. His English wasn't great and he seemed a little rushed. It would be nice to have a little more info in the welcome package regarding use of the appliances, particularly the washer/dryer. Lena, the owner, was very quick to respond to every email question, which was very helpful.

Appartamento perfetto

Siamo stati a Firenze a capodanno. Periodo molto freddo,ma la sera rientrare in una casa calda e accogliente  non ha prezzo.  Consigliatissima,arredata con gusto e rifinita nei minimi particolari. Ottima posizione per visitare Firenze a piedi. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo. I padroni di casa gentili e disponibili.

Perfetta per vacanza o lavoro

Ottimo, l’appartamento è curato in ogni aspetto ed è fornito di ogni possibile utensileria. Salendo la scala si trova anche il terrazzino molto piccolo ma delizioso (che sul sito non era menzionato... piacevole sorpresa!). Essendo distante pochi minuti dal centro può essere comodo sia per vacanza sia per lavoro. Unica nota per viaggiatori anziani: due rampe di scale da salire a piedi dal portoncino alla porta di casa. Ma ne vale la pena ...

Sensacional

O Apartamento é muito bonito, confortável e bem equipado. A localização e os anfitriões, tudo perfeito. Elena e Giovanni são excelentes, nos receberam super bem, no horário que programamos. Fica perto do centro histórico, o único porém é que não pode entrar estacionar carro lá, então os estacionamentos são um pouco distantes e um pouco caros para deixar por 24h, por isso, deve já estar no orçamento este valor, para quem vai de carro. Super recomendo a estadia, vale muito a pena. Grato por tudo Elena e Giovanni, esperamos retornar em breve, pois Florença é muito linda. att. Flavia (Brasil)

The photos of this apartment do not do it justice. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The apartment is gorgeous and wonderfully decorated. It is in a great location for exploring all that Florence has to offer. My only regret was not visiting Michelangelo’s childhood home, which is right there in the Santa Croce neighborhood. Elena and Giovanni were warm and welcoming.

Wonderful, welcoming apartment and host

What a wonderful place to stay in Florence! Quiet street very near center of town. The host was so welcoming, even returned back to the apartment to bring us a plug adapter after we discovered we misplaced ours. Beautifully done apartment.

Great location and spacious

We were very comfortable and enjoyed the balcony very much. We had everything we needed. Giovanni met is tight seay and have us great recommendations. He was a huge help in a personal issue that needed resolving that involved language. So thank you again for that!!! We recommend!

An amazing apartment in a beautiful area of Florence!

I couldn't have been happier with my choice of accommodations! The apartment is even more spacious than it appears in the photos and the owners have thought of everything to make their guests comfortably situated. Since I was a single woman staying on my own, I loved the security and safety of the neighborhood. The proximity to Santa Croce was a mere 5 minutes and there are many good restaurants and shops close by. It was quite warm during my stay, so I was very glad to make use the air-conditioning. There is a delightful little private rooftop piazza just for the apartment, and I made good use of it in the evenings. I also appreciated the good water pressure in the shower, kitchen amenities (including a dishwasher) and the crisp, ironed cotton sheets on the very comfortable bed were a treat! I would definitely return in the future!!

Bel appartement très bien situé

L'appartement est situé dans une rue très calme à quelques minutes à pieds du centre historique. Bien équipé et joliment décoré. Le seul petit bémol concerne le matelas du canapé lit qui est vraiment trop ferme. Florence est une ville magnifique, nous avons adoré notre séjour!

Perfect stay

Great little apartment with everything you need. Close enough to all the sights but in a nice quiet street. 4 of us stayed here quite comfortably. Comfy bed and great shower. Would recommend.

Fantastic Customer Service

Giovanni and Elena were great. The apartment is on the third floor but easily accessible. Every need we had was addressed without any issues at all. We needed a taxi several times and Elena arranged those for us without any complaint. The apartment is fairly close to the center of the city but plan to bring walking shoes. What a wonderful visit!

Great property in idea location

The flat was in a central but quiet street in the historic centre. Very near to great bars and restaurants and historic sights. It had all mod cons, but still retained authentic italian feel. The flat was cool even though it was hot and we didn't really need to use the air con. Florence is buzzing and has much more nightlife than other Italian towns. As well as great architecture, culture etc it is also a very pretty city with lovely gardens to visit. The owner was helpful when we arrived so nothing bad to report at all!

Perfect home away from home!

Very well appointed apartment in an excellent location for exploring the sites around Florence. Quiet. Great amenities and very friendly and helpful hosts!

Schöne Wohnung in perfekter Lage

Die Wohnung ist ideal für einen -auch längeren- Aufenthalt in Florenz . Sehr nette Gastgeber, die uns herzlich empfingen. Ob im Vorfeld, bei Ankunft oder Abreise sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wir konnten unser Gepäck abladen und erhielten dann eine Empfehlung für ein Parkhaus (20€/Tag) Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht auch für eine Selbstverpflegung. Sehr ruhig gelegen und dennoch ist man in wenigen Minuten im Trubel von Florenz. Alles sehr sauber , wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Lovely Apartment

This is a lovely apartment, with all the necessities. Kitchen and bathroom have been beautifully renovated (largest bathroom we saw in Italy), and the location is very good. I loved being able to look out the window and see people on their balconies and hanging out their laundry! The wisteria was in bloom, and we could smell the fragrance. We took wine and snacks up to the terrace in the evening, I was so glad the weather was warm enough to do this! We ate at La Carceri, and had a lovely meal. My only warning is to be aware of the two steep flights of stairs that you will have to carry your luggage up!
