The Porcellino was in a great location. So close to all the main attractions and restaurants. Loved how there was complimentary coffee and tea in the lounge. Breakfast was good too! Great BnB!
Location was perfect! Breakfast was great selection and clean property. Although hard to find the door at first because I missed the check in instructions but overall would stay again.
The property is absolutely lovely: clean and full of character and in such a convenient location, with the Palazzo Vecchio just round the corner. Lots of bars, restaurants and cafes close by too. A special touch was the communal bottle of Chianti and Limoncello. Would highly recommend!
Didn’t really see staff except at breakfast. Breakfast was great. Location was great. AC was appreciated. The tip to reduce outside noise was good but I still needed ear plugs due to early market set up and music at night.
I was quite impressed with this beautiful gallery hotel. The attention to detail was nice and the morning breakfast was delicious. It was very hot when we visited, but the ac in the hotel and our room worked great! My room was gorgeous and our host was quite helpful. If you like being in the center of it all, then that is what you feel. Just outside the hotel were restaurants, shopping and even a violin serenade at night. If you like quiet, then this is not the best option. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would come to this hotel again.
I loved my stay at this property. The location was perfect and within walking distance to all the sites and museums. The staff were excellent especially Dexter. The first room I reserved had loud A/C, and he was able to move me to a quieter room. If you book here, just note that there is no elevator, the entrance is hidden behind a restaurant, and the WiFi was not very good. Other than that, loved the room and the decor.
In the Heart of Florence it’s an older hotel but non the less wonderful! Everything was perfect from check in to check out. Breakfast is delicious and well thought through. The room was excellent and really nice was the table in the lobby/sitting area with fruits, wine and limoncello for the guests. What a wonderful addition to a perfect stay.
Pros: large rooms, air conditioned, kind of clean
Cons: bathroom not air conditioned, shower leaks water, only a sheet on the bed no comforter, difficult to reach any kind of hotel staff for help.
The location was second to none. Having a wonderful breakfast included was also incredible. Planning out the day was so convenient when you knew you could stop by your accommodation to change or clean up without having to go out of your way. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning meant our room was also comfortable even when it was 35C outside. We would stay again if we find ourselves in Florence again.
