My husband and I have been here before we had had kids, and because the pool is so amazing, we knew that we wanted to go back once they were old enough. Our 8 year old twins had the best time ever in the pool! We live just about an hour away but it was the perfect location for a staycation. The staff was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and so accommodating. We planned on only staying one night but ended up booking a second and everybody called out of work in school the next day just to have fun with the family! They no longer have continental breakfast which was disappointing, and we wish we would have known ahead of time, but it was fun to walk across the street to Waffle House in the morning. We definitely recommend staying here and we can't wait to go back!

Family fun

We like staying here because of their pool! The kids love it and the living plants all around that area make it a fun place for the grown-ups to hang out. There are two restaurants opening in the hotel in a month or two. Excited to go back!

Nice stay

We had a great stay except for the loud rumbling we heard in the middle of the night. It almost sounded like a washing machine but must’ve been the generator. I’m a super light sleeper so it woke me up, but my boyfriend barely heard it. Bed was comfortable and clean room.

It has a very unique open pool area with a retro feel. The hot tub was no longer being used. Best part of the hotel was the pool. The hallways and rooms were filthy including the curtains. The elevators were old and dirty as well.

Easy check in we stayed our last couple days of vacation nice hotel reasonably priced room could’ve been more clean looked like some kids destroyed the room with coloring markers or paint overall the stay was good pool was great kinda cold and really dirty things were floating everywhere would stay here again! Super nice staff I can’t remember her name but she was probably the nicest lady ever! So polite and very friendly! The breakfast bags were great for on the go!

I will say, they're going through a renovation. So the condition of the establishment isn't something I'll focus much on. Our room had a broken handle on the dresser, didn't look swept, no vent in the shower. The staff was wonderful and helpful though.

Needs attention to detail

Front desk service was great- we reserved a room for my family of 5 and the room wasn’t available so she gave us two rooms adjoining for no extra charge. This is an older property and they are slowly renovating. Little things like leaking toilets, hair clogged drains, balcony doors that don’t lock make show the age of the property. Advertised breakfast but none was offered. Could use attention to detail. Otherwise, fair and comfortable for the price.

Staff was nice and very helpful during check in and out. I am not the type to complain. We had 6 of us. I had reserved 2 beds with a pull out couch. Only got to beds. We made do with the space. One of my children had to sleep on the floor. The room had this very strong musty and mold covered up with chemical smell. Smell was so strong and bad that we had to keep the sliding door open our entire stay. The sliding door was near impossible to open and close.

Older, but very pretty property! Rooms clean aside from the pizza left in the fridge from a previous guest. At the time of check in the front desk agent gave very poor directions to our room, was not friendly what so ever, and when we could not find our room she proceeded to tell us "well I gave you directions." Other then the older gal at the front desk, our stay was great!

This was a great hotel... 30 years ago. Grounds are awful, halls need painting, rooms are fair. Service is non existent and the elevators broke down. Do not stay here !
