"Asa’s home was perfect for our family vacation of 4 (including our dog), but can accommodate many more - The view was so delightful (amazing) that it was difficult to leave each day to explore Newport and the surrounding area. Check-in was a breeze as Asa met us upon arrival to explain everything about the house. The house was lovely and comfortable. It was well-stocked with everything you would need for your stay. Getting to Newport was very easy as the house is close to the Jamestown Bridge. Narragansett is just a short drive away. We also enjoyed visiting the birthplace of Gilbert Stuart, the famous portrait artist. Much to do in the area but we really enjoyed just relaxing at this lovely home. We would not hesitate to recommend Asa’s getaway and we look forward to returning!"
"We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage. It had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. The location was perfect-peaceful and private, yet close enough to the beach and the cute downtown. It was nice that the home provided beach towels, a cooler, and a beach wagon. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!"
"The house was clean and well equipped, with towels and sheets (and beds made). The playroom downstairs was large enough for 2 queen blowup mattresses so the family could really spread out. We loved the Bonnet Shores neighborhood and did a lot of walking and biking. We really appreciated the pass to Kelly Beach. The host quickly responded to any questions we had. "

"Beautiful location. House should be cleaned more thoroughly. Floors, cabinets and spider webs could have used more attention. Loved the house and location. Hostess was responsive to our concerns with the toilet running continuously which turned into us just having to jiggle the handle. Windows to sunroom were not clean. "
