"I was angry when I got to this hotel. Nowhere did I see I needed to reserve a parking spot ahead of time and that spots were limited. There were NO public parking spots within a convenient walking distance. However, Nunu and Dora at the front desk turned what would have been a 1-star review into a 5-star review. Parking was full for it first night and Nunu was helpful in guiding me to an area with streetside parking. Dora was helpful in getting me an on-site spot the second night. The room and grounds were amazing."

"Fantastic hotel, would highly recommend. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive. The hotel itself is very nice, clean and has a great vibe to it. The food was phenomenal and I ended up eating breakfast and lunch most days at the hotel. It's in a great location too and has an awesome little swimming spot in the ocean. I was a solo traveler and felt very safe here. Very worth it to upgrade your room to an ocean view!! Would definitely come back!"

"Great property. A short walk to the marina and old Town. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and modern. Parking sucked but there is a parking garage about 400 meter walk away that costs 4.50 euro per day."

"Pros - Perfect location (Right in the heart of the old town and restaurants) - Flexible check-in and check-out. - Clean room. - Toilets and kitchen were clean. - The Madeira Cable Car and the public bus hub were just a 5-minute walk away. Cons - The bath was too small, although it was alright. - There was just one dining table with six chairs in the kitchen."
