Let the river views take centre stage when staying in this inspiring waterfront property with picture windows and panoramic landscapes. Positioned in an elevated vantage point above the vibrant town of Fowey, this three-storey property promises to host your next unforgettable retreat on Cornwall’s south coast. The holiday home, which sleeps eight guests, is laid out with plenty of impressive features including the riverside decking and plenty of quiet nooks for curling up with a book and admiring the view from indoors. Get ready to spend unrivalled quality time here with friends or family after long days on the beach or amongst local sights.
You’re immediately greeted by the dining room, kitchen and the first of four bedrooms, a double with an en-suite shower room, on the ground floor. Whilst you can prepare dishes in the kitchen, we challenge any budding chef to step out onto the front terrace and fire up the stone BBQ to feed the family. Upstairs, find a handsome lounge with more than enough soft seating for everyone, a Smart TV and, of course, some more impressive sea views. There’s also a bunk bedroom and a double room on this floor, the latter offering access to the rear terrace with added privacy and a sumptuous hot tub. The final bedroom, a splendid en-suite king-size, is on the second floor.
Awash with AONB splendour, Fowey is a gem in Cornwall’s holiday offering. Spend plenty of time on Readymoney Cove (0.5 miles), admiring the view of St Catherine’s Castle whilst playing on the sand. You can also take the passenger ferry over the estuary to Polruan (0.5 miles), embarking on a South West Coast Path route from the village to unearth further beautiful beaches including Lantic Bay (2.5 miles on foot).
