This property is in a great location in the middle of Megeve. Great restaurants in the building and many others within walking distance. Once you arrive a car isn't necessary. The staff is friendly and helpful. I enjoyed our room very much with a nice balcony over looking the village. Would definitely return.

This is my 3rd time staying at Hotel Heliopic. There is simply no other hotel I would choose in Chamonix. As far as value, Heliopic should be deemed a 6 star hotel. Between the fabulous, helpful, patient, informative, and accommodating staff, and the numerous little complimentary touches and amenities in the hotel, I consider Heliopic one of my favorite hotels to stay at in the world. Amazing, large, and clean spa, Michelin restaurant on site and now a new cheese restaurant, lovely lounge area...

This was so much more then we expected. We upgraded our room so we would have a beautiful huge balcony with a beautiful view. It was so peaceful and the view was worth every extra Dollar we spent. A lot of times you see pictures on the internet of your hotel and when you get there you are disappointed because it is not as nice as you thought it would be. But this hotel was so much nicer then we could have imagined. Loved it. I would highly recommend it.

The front desk staff were so sweet and helpful. We do not speak French, and had an emergency where we needed two different taxis going different directions, we had no idea where to even start. She just picked up the phone and started calling for us and found each of us one right away. They also asked the kitchen at the connected restaurant to let us in before they closed as we got in late the night before. The food was amazing, by the way! The best cheeseburger we've ever had. Very cute and nice for the price. We stayed in room 2. The restaurant wasn't open at the time we were there but I could see that it was quaint. Since we were foreigners I wish that the mistress would have warned us to be at the restaurants in St Pierre de Chartreuse at 7pm. They only took food orders for 1 hour. Luckily there was an actual saint there who saw us being rejected at 8:20pm and knew a place 20 minutes away that he secured a late reservation for us or we would not have eaten that...
