"The room was really charming and quite unique, as it was basically like a little veranda on the top floor of the building, very characteristic. The space itself is a bit small, and in the morning you really need to keep the air conditioning on, otherwise it gets too hot. The location is quite central, so you’re close to pretty much everything. There’s a bar just nearby and the area is overall good. The neighborhood is very nice as well, full of antique shops, which gives it a special atmosphere."
"The owner went completely out of his way by finding me a cab, walking me outside to show me where to catch the cab, suggest tourist sights, etc My room was very clean and completely adequate. Loved the location (proximity to the touristy promenade full of shops & restaurants plus Taksim Square was perfect). Very impressed! I would definitely stay there again!"

"Amazing hotel with great service. Only recommendation would be for non-smoking rooms - The smell of cigarettes resides in the air conditioning system, which can be unpleasant. Otherwise, everything else is excellent. "
"The Union Hotel Port is a boutique hotel. It is busy, but does not have the high-volume traffic that larger hotels experience due to their size. Consequently, it allows Sam, Mariam, and other Union Hotel Port staff members the opportunity to extend a personal touch to each of its guests. They certainly made me feel at home, although I was thousands of miles away from home.
