"If you are on a budget, this is the place for you! The room was very clean, amenities basic soap and shampoo, shower was great. There was no hair dryer in room but you can get one at the front desk. After I shampooed my hair, the hair dryer didn’t work and they had no other to loan!!! Bummer. I had to go buy one. Great place for the budget minded but don’t expect extras. It did have an outside pool!"

"The location of this property was excellent—an easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by several issues with the accommodations, the most serious being the condition of the sofa bed. Although the listing stated the unit slept four, the sofa bed sheets were dirty and crusty, clearly not replaced after the previous guests. When we searched for extra bedding, there was none in the unit. As a result, two people in our group had to sleep on top of the couch with only a small throw blanket.When we contacted Vacasa, we were told through their AI support that someone would address the issue. Instead, after 9 p.m. the next night, several large trash bags were dropped at our door—still missing the blankets we requested, and filled with random items we never asked for. No one removed the dirty sheets, and no one followed up.When I reached out again and requested compensation, Vacasa responded with an email claiming we had dirtied the sheets, ignoring the lack of bedding and the bizarre delivery of unrelated items. The entire interaction made it clear that Vacasa does not prioritize customer service or guest experience.If the owner of this property reads this, I strongly encourage you to consider a different management company for your rental."

"This rental was a colossal disappointment. It was dark, tired, poorly decorated, very old, smelly (like mildew) and is in need of a complete overhaul if it is to be ever rented to anymore. The refrigerator even has rust on the outside of it. We left the door keys on the kitchen counter and contacted the host to tell her that we could not stay in the unit and wanted our money back, because of the poor quality and misrepresentation of this unit. It ruined our entire time in Carpinteria and made us skeptical of renting anything else in a similar building and certainly not ever considering a rental in that same building complex. We felt that this should’ve been 100% better quality than what it actually was, particularly because we paid a significant amount of money for three nights at the outset. This was truly a horrible experience."
