The complimentary breakfast has variety of local food, it'd be great if there's sashimi as some 5 stars hotel would most likely offer it."

"Hotel and staff are great. Room is beautiful. The view is simply stunning! Love love the view so much! However the location is at nowhere. Have quite some steps to climb to get to transportation and attractions. Also, there is no elevator to the room. So prepare to carry your luggage up to your room if it is upstairs."

"The hotel is great. I was attending a work conference at the exhibition center across the river in Taipei. The late night concierge on the weekend immediately made me feel at home, coming in at 11 pm on my first solo trip to Asia. The breakfast is excellent. Be aware that most of the restaurants amd things to do are on the other side of the river. There is a shuttle about six times a day to the exhibition center, the HSR station and the Lala mall."

"If catching a cruise out of Keelung Taiwan it will be difficult to find a better place for a stayover. Exceptionally clean, pretty affordable, and an ideal location all make Evergreen Laurel an excellent choice. Very nice breakfast buffet, too. (BTW - Sarah is an outstanding ambassador for the hotel.)"
