The rooms were a bit small, but they were very comfortable, beautifully maintained, and had a classic charm that matched the elegance of the hotel. "I had overall an excellent stay at the Hotel Calimala Florence. The staff were very friendly and eager to help. It was excellently located. I thought the bathroom a bit cramped, but I had a small room anyway. The breakfast buffet was fine, just not at the price they had it. I did enjoy dinner there, though. Overall it worked out very very well. For other travelers, I will point out that there are two buildings very close together; the one with the rooftop restaurant is "Angel Roofbar & Dining" on Google maps, which was confusing at first."

"Our stay at the Villa Agape was outstanding! The Villa is away from town which was refreshing after a day of exploring Florence. The daily shuttle was very helpful and we also walked 30 minutes too and from the city often. It was a very beautiful walk with good sidewalks. Our room was a Superior Double which included breakfast. This is a must! The breakfast was excellent. The staff here was also exceptional and went out of their way to make our trip comfortable. Do not be afraid that the Villa is away from downtown. It’s a perfect location to relax and enjoy the beauty of Tuscany. "
