"Our first trip to Croatia. We stayed for a week during very hot weather. The pool and wellness facilities were excellent. The a/c in the room was great and accommodation all very comfortable. We loved the vibe in Novigrad and ate at a few of the restaurants, just a short walk from the hotel. There is also a lovely park you can walk to where there is easy access to swim in the sea. We had free parking at the hotel and had days out inPorec, umag and rovinj."

The facility is beautiful and the staff was incredibly helpful and worked very hard to make our time there feel special. "This is an excellent hotel in an excellent location, right in the centre of Piran's historical area. We absolutely loved the breakfast and the terrace bar. I wish this bar was open on more evenings to watch the sunset, and it would have been great to have a kettle in the room. But these are minor points, and we can thoroughly recommend this hotel!"

"We had a lovely stay at Hotel Histrion. Our room was clean and comfortable, and it was great to have a kettle and mini fridge provided. The only downside was that the tea and coffee weren’t restocked during our stay. Breakfast was fine, with enough choice to start the day. A high chair was also always available for our daughter, which was really convenient. Unfortunately, the indoor pool at Hotel Histrion was closed during our stay, but this didn’t matter at all as we had plenty of other options. We were able to use the outdoor swimming area at Bernardin Plaza, as well as the outdoor pool at Apartments Vila Barka, free of charge. We also had the option of using the indoor pool at Grand Hotel Bernardin, but the weather was so lovely that we much preferred being outside! The outdoor swimming area at Bernardin Plaza was fantastic and really made our stay. It was a great alternative to the closed pool and meant we could still enjoy plenty of swimming and relaxing in the sunshine! Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily return!"

"We had an amazing time at this hotel. The buffet was amazing with large varieties of food and even containing vegan + vegetarian options. The hotel is very close to the sea, though distances differ depending on your room number. There were many enjoyable evening activities, both for adults and for children. We recommend this hotel!"
