"The cabin was very warm and cozy ! We enjoyed the fireplace each night which was very easy since they had firewood handy . Everything was very clean and stocked with many extras that you might need . We will definitely return!! "

"Absolutely amazing! Staff was fabulous. And the icing on the cake was the fantastic breakfast. We had freshly made breakfast burritos one day, and scrambled eggs and biscuits and sausage gravy!! This was the BEST BREAKFAST I have ever had at a hotel. Keep up the great work!!!"

"Very clean. It was spacious. The area was beautiful with the mountains right there and I'm in the valley. I got some good sunset pics with the mountains. It was more than I needed but this is what was available. Has a small kitchen but I only saw a pizza pan and an 8x8 pan. No saucepan. But I didn't come prepared to cook. Area was quiet. "

"All four of us loved our stay at this beautifully appointed cabin home. The kitchen was perfectly outfitted with everything we needed to make great meals (there are no real restaurants close to this terrific home). The beds were super comfortable and the home was absolutely spotless (including the huge windows with incredible views). The expansive deck was perfect for taking in the breathtaking sight of the dunes at early morning, midday, dusk, .....and the night sky (SO DARK) offered up spectacular views of those amazing stars in the clear Colorado nights. The remote neighborhood felt very safe and so quiet! We can't really say enough about the ease of booking, communication, and the beauty of the home and surrounding area -- if you plan to visit the Great Sand Dunes, we believe this is the perfect home. You won't be disappointed. The place is exactly as described and you'll have a wonderful stay. We'll be back!"

"This place was amazing! Inside perfect living space, clean. The real treat was outside. Venable creek is literally off the back deck. We sat out there listening and watching for hours. Plus it was a 2 minute drive to the Venable trail head. Great location for what we wanted. We had a. Issue with the fireplace our first night, the owner had people at the house within 15 minutes. No complaints whatsoever, my dogs loved it also. Will stay again! Ghanks"

"For me, this house is ideally located away from busy roads. The neighborhood was super quiet, and the view is stunning. I enjoyed being able to stargaze without the noise of light pollution. Really enjoyed our stay."
