"The hotel was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Gudja is quiet but so pretty, you do need to get taxis or buses to get out and about. The hotel was beautiful, air con great, room made up as requested and breakfast lovely. Also given it is minutes from the airport we heard nothing and I’d packed ear plugs just in case, they weren’t needed. We definately recommend."

"Great place to stay - so close to lovely restaurants and a small supermarket, just off the harbour. So clean, everything had been thought of. Virtual check in worked seamlessly - efficient & easy, great air con and comfy beds. Doors on codes were brilliant as no worries with keys. There's a lovely little lounge with coffee & tea and fab view. We had quadruple room which was spacious and I can't fault this superb little hotel. If you're looking to eat nearby try Ta Victor - absolutely delicious set menu."

"We have stayed here a few times now and will definitely return! Alice is a thoughtful host and nothing is too much trouble. The property is always very clean and smells beautiful! The location of the property is overlooking the picturesque bay with breathtaking views with the bus stop for the airport just across the road. There are plenty of local stores for groceries and some wonderful restaurants Dar Il Sajjied and Nonna G by Carmens were our favourites. Thank you Alice once again for your hospitality. We will visit again soon!"

"This was honestly the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. Filled with Old World charm. It’s a true bed & breakfast in a family estate of multiple generations led by a matriarch who runs the show. You sit and have breakfast with several of them when they’re visiting, it’s remarkable - the bubbly grandson, his brilliant mother who is a local tour guide, and the elderly parents. The gardener/pool guy and maid also display have deep affection for the family and the home. There are orange, lemon, and olive trees. The olive oil is from the trees you see from the mansion windows. The pool is cleaned constantly and also charming. The room itself was perfect. I had a desk, which was really helpful as I had to work throughout my stay, the bed was comfortable, and the AC got so cold even in the heat wave that I had to turn it off! The bathroom was clean and had everything I needed. Parking was no issue. I am surprised this place isn’t on AirBnB. It would win awards. It’s perfect for people who want a personalized experience over a stuffy concierged stay. It’s not a traditional hotel. It’s a gorgeous mansion of which you rent a room. There is total privacy (each room has its own keys of course) and the upstairs floor that hosts the guests is in a separate portion of the house from where the owners stay downstairs. The bad reviews seem geopolitical (UK colonized Malta) and irrelevant to your stay. This is a magical, dreamy, stunning place to stay with the kindest, funniest family."

"had a fantastic stay at this self-catering apartment and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed for a self-catering stay. The kitchen had all the essentials, making it easy to prepare meals, while the living area was cosy and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, The breakfast was excellent and well stocked The location was excellent, with easy access to local attractions, shops, restaurants, and beautiful places to explore. It provided the perfect base for enjoying the holiday while also offering peace and quiet to relax after a busy day We used buses each day to go to different parts of Malta which was easy The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay. Communication was excellent, and they made sure everything was ready on arrival. Overall, I had a wonderful holiday and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. I would definitely return in the future and happily recommend this apartment to family and friends. It deserves a full 5-star rating."
