"Characterful hotel with well equipped rooms and in a fantastic location but has a disgraceful policy of charging guests an extra fee to to hold their bags pre-check in and post-check out. Never encountered this at any other hotel, including other within the same chain. Holding guest bags is a minimum expectation of the complimentary service at most hotels irrespective of budget."

"Some of the cleaning staff needs to pay attention to their personal hygiene. There no reason for a guest to be blasted with the overpowering body odour of some staff in the lifts or hallways. It is markedly so in the elevator the housekeeping staff uses that opens to the back area. It needs to be addressed. "

"Wonderful room - we had the Bollinger garden suite which had an incredible view and gorgeous gardens which we shared with next doors suite, but it still felt incredibly private. Amenities were lovely and we felt thoroughly relaxed. plus Clifton is a lovely area and you don't have to walk far for bars, shops and restaurants "

"Good location. Can recommend the pubs and Italian restaurant just down the road. Friendly staff. Lovely breakfast. Room I had, on the top floor was small…but adequate. Not a big fan of electric showers though. Overall I enjoyed my stay."
