"Easy to find, nice setup and very different... Issues with the stay; shower head was a rainhead shower too heavy for the wall so kept falling which left it way too short to truly shower, low water pressure, ac was in the livingroom and even though fans were on high not a ton of air flow. Bed was hard along with the pillow. For the price could have stayed in the water. "

"Check in was delayed an hour because the room wasn’t ready. The room was spacious and comfortable. Decor was 90’s country. AC worked well. The shower took a bit for the hot water to come in, and water pressure came in and out. Parking was easy when we checked in on Friday but Saturday was difficult. We had to park at the back of the overflow lot on gravel. It was also poorly lit. Breakfast on the porch was good. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The view of the lake was nice. Food was served fresh and quickly. The location can’t be beat, basically a 5-10 minute walk to most restaurants and shops. While some aspects of the inn are outdated, its charm, view of the lake, and location make up for it. "

"Our stay at the Retreat was terrific. The unit was clean and comfortable ...just as advertised. The host was very responsive. The outside area is very unassuming -- a gravel parking lot on a main street -- but we felt quite safe. The location is about a 20 minute walk from the waterfront and downtown and there's a great breakfast restaurant about a block away. "

"During my short stay, I noticed several large roaches in my room. I attempted to contact the number that had been texting me to ask if I needed anything, but I was unable to reach anyone. I also included details about the issue in my checkout notes, yet no one followed up with me after I returned home. Unfortunately, I later discovered roaches in my luggage as well, which was extremely upsetting. I sincerely hope the property owner takes responsibility and makes this situation right, as this level of cleanliness and lack of response is completely unacceptable."

"This is such an adorable and charming house. Many hours on the back deck and enjoyed screened porch as well. Overall well stocked kitchen. Super comfortable beds. Nice location to downtown and parks. Would highly recommend sunset visit to the boardwalk to see lots of birds and an alligator and amazing view. Also kayaking the Dora Canal was a great experience. "
