"Hotel is a bit far away from downtown Portland where we were mostly spending our time, but it was what we wanted in having an onsen to soak in at the end of the long day, and the Japanese breakfast (salmon, rice and miso) was great! "

"The house and property were exactly as described on the platform. It was easy for us to check in since we all arrived on different flights and times. The kitchen was fully stocked. Bathrooms had soap, body wash and shampoo with an added bonus of blow dryers in both bathrooms. We did utilize the washer/dryer and they worked beautifully. The kitchen came equipped with a dish washer and gas stove. Plenty of dishes, flatware, cookware and serving ware. Also, the heating could be set comfortable from both the first and second stories.We could see where families could have a really wonderful time as it's totally set up for children. And the neighbors and neighborhood are really lovely. Beautiful trees and grass made our fall trip perfect! "

"I slept better here than I have at any motel in my life. Surprisingly quiet, comfortable, and dark in the room. Window opened to allow fresh air, sheets were not scratchy, laminate floor and no gross carpet and didn’t smell like stale pot smoke, yay. It was a no vacancy Friday night but the halls were quiet and guests were respectful. I never expect to sleep well in a motel so was quite happy. The water smells like chlorine but was plenty hot. Good location with Human Bean across the street. Staff was friendly. "
