My family of four stayed in this lovely inn at the end of December 2015. We were looking for a place to stay between attending a Manchester United Football game and visiting the English countryside. This location was perfect! It allowed us to stay out of the city in a more relaxed and less commercial inn, so that we could truly get a feel for the area. Loved my stay! The staff was super friendly and nice, felt very welcomed. The room was comfortable and clean. Parking was easy and convenient. The breakfast was perfect, I also dinned in the restaurant and loved everything. Banana Toffee Waffle dessert is well worth the calories!

Had a little problem with the toilet but the staff said they would be quick to fix it. Other than that our stay was great. The food and service were excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed at the Village Hotel on 2 occasions. I was in town visiting family. The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. From check in to check out, I also enjoyed the Pub downstairs. The food was delicious and the staff was amazing. There is a pool and gym here, however, I did not use either of those facilities. My family members used the pool and really enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again while in the UK.

Great property, reasonably priced, comfortable and clean room. Kitchenette was great and the bathroom was lovely. I found the bed to be incredibly comfortable.
Breakfast buffet was great, plenty of choices, and allergens were labeled for all items; separate space for gluten-free items.
Laundry room was good, small washers & dryers that were serviceable and free for guests (byo detergent), and much appreciated.
Staff were all polite, helpful, and seemed genuinely pleasant.
