"The hotel lobby was very inviting and the staff was friendly. If you were there on business the lobby had several intimate seating areas to meet. We were there for leisure. The pool was heated and clean. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The only negative was the breakfast. There is a fee of $16.00 and it is not any better than any other hotel that has breakfast included. Also, decafe coffee had to be made special each day. Breakfast staff was friendly day one but day 2 and 3 we had someone different and she was not a pleasant person. "

"For the class of economy hotels this is in, it’s about as good as you get. Super clean, super quit, fresh…. Just about as good as an economy hotel gets. If ever in the area will stay again."

"Beautiful beach house! Clean, comfortable and furnished with everything you need. Beach was never crowded and literally a few steps from the house. Loved the personal touches…looking at Veronica’s (owner) family photo album and reading guest book reviews since at least 2010 was a nice touch. You can tell a lot of love and attention has been given to their home. Veronica stayed in contact with me during our trip. We had no issues and loved the house. We will be back! "

"I wanted to love this place but it was so dirty! I had to wash the floors and wipe things down in order to be comfortable enough to stay there. There was dust on all the blinds and the windows and doors were sticky and dirty. Whoever is paid to clean does not do a good job. There was a wet mop and bucket left in the laundry area that smelled. We had to close the door to the second bedroom because there was a strange smell in there. The pans were all scratched beyond use, so I made a trip to the store to buy something usable. Hubby had to fix the door so it would close and replace a blinking light bulb under the deck. The locking mechanisms on the doors need attention too. We did love the area and had a nice time on the beach and biking at Gulf State Park trails. The king bed was comfortable. The living room furniture was ok. I would not rent this place again or recommend it to anyone. I feel like I paid for cleaning services that I did not receive. We left it cleaner than we got it. The dishes were okay, but bring your own pans if you rent here and want to do any cooking."
