The building is going through a refurb, which is okay, but to not have any aircon and not notify prior to arriving was very disappointing. 1/4 rooms still actually had tooling in there. Overall, wouldn’t return.

Wow! We loved everything about the hotel. The view was spectacular, the pool was beautiful and the room was perfect! The bed was so comfortable, full kitchen, shower was awesome and generally, the ideal location for the night life, beach and just exploring the gorgeous Gold Coast. I live near Coolangatta but I can’t wait to stay here again lol

The pool, with three spas was a feature . Big enough at 20m or lap swimming. water temp perfect. Lounge chairs and shady trees. One could walk straight to the beach via a gate. Well primed lift service. Rooms were spacious, with plenty of views from windows. Great value.

Thought it was weird that there was no plates knives forks or pot or pan for cooking the views were amazing could of been cleaner our room looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time but price was good overall we we happy and would go back

Cannot beat the location or the facilities at this Chateau Beachside. A block from Cavill Avenue, sparkling pool, spas, sauna, steam room, tennis court and we overlooked the beach. So so clean and the service was great too.

Awesome!

The room was very neat and spacious. It's s a 3.5 star accommodation and what you get is quite good. Servicing of the room was top notch. The view is awesome and facilities are very good.

The best part was how close it was to everything and that’s where it ended very dissapointed in the room the photos what they show you are nothing like what you get I won’t be staying there again and wouldn’t be recommending it to anyone 😐

Great Location

So close to everything and convenient. What we saved on luxurious accommodation we were able to spend on local activities. Not luxurious but definitely clean, practical and great view. Will definitely be back.

Staff were friendly enough, location was excellent, views awesome!! However, whilst i understand the build is rather old, it doesnt excuse the state of our room... "Cleaning" was rather rough to say the least, the furniture in poor state. i will not state specifics as that's unfair however be aware and dont expect high quality! Just sad that it was as such becuase this place could be fantastic!

Paid for a queen bed & got 2 singles sloppily put together which made for terrible sleep. Shower door broke twice during stay. Toilet seat broke during stay. No knives or plates in room - reception only offered plastic.

We booked a room informing about a Birthday Celebration. The hotel staff was on the door many times to give a warning regarding noise. The Hotel charged a fine for the Birthday celebration noise. The property is OLD and charging for pre-informed events. Not recommended at all

Great location, room in need of a renovation however comfortable. There was no air conditioning but was told they were currently being installed. Microwave and stovetop was great. No actual balcony to step out onto but could push table and chairs close and look out at the awesome views. Parking was a struggle late in the afternoon so would go out in the morning and back by lunch - plenty of parking then.

It’s a well priced hotel, situated in an awesome location. You get a little welcome gift when you arrive and free parking. The rooms are clean and spacious but they all need a serious makeover as it looks like they haven’t had one since the hotel was built.

The location is good our room had a view of the beach The internet was difficult to get connection to so you could say there was no WiFi. The online photos did not portray how dated the room was but it was clean.

It’s a great location! Late check in 3PM. No Air Con but windows letting in the breeze from the ocean. Rooms are old but furnished well. Microwave was dirty. Would stay again purely for location! Staff were nice as well.
