"The first night I was there there was yelling and screaming and fighting outside my room. They had to call the police and that was on Saturday, March 1 they said that they were not charging me for the first night which was Saturday night and they said that Expedia has to give me my refund. The staff was very good. "

"This is a refurbished stately old hotel, with huge rooms and a very friendly staff. It's about a half mile from the French quarter and much quieter (Lafayette park is right next door). There's an excellent restaurant kitty- corner and a well regarded steak house next door within the building. There's also a very good grocery store two blocks away which has a good selection of wines and beers and take out foods. "

"I booked a double room and upon arrival after 8 hours of travel the hotel did not ain in accommodating my reservation at their location nor at a sister property. There was no compensation for the night spent in the single bed room aside for a breakfast voucher. The next day after moving to another room, the AC was not working and it took a tech an hour to try to resolve the issue. AC was still not cooling the room. I can't not recommend this hotel. For the rate paid if felt like I was being treated like take it or leave it. "
