Exquisite Hill Country Cottage-Giraffe and wildlife experiences

"We had an incredible time at the ranch. The pool and hot tub were perfect, and biking through the property while spotting wildebeests and zebras was surreal. Ty, Leslie, and Adriaan were phenomenal hosts. We really enjoyed the safari where we fed both Tank the rhino and the giraffes."

"We had a group of 26 married adults. This property has the right combination of queen and king beds with en-suite bathrooms. No bunk beds was great for this no children group. Kitchen was well stocked and pantry was great for such a large group. Property has an amazing view and the 10 acres makes for a great morning walk. Pool and (surprisingly) hot tub were fan favorites everyday of our stay. Downstairs AC was a beast, even in the 100 degree August heat. Having multiple structures and kitchens was nice. Great Wi-Fi, seating (interior and exterior), and convenient location. The house and property could use some TLC- a deep cleaning, new mattresses, new AC (bedrooms), shower valves (temperature issues in some baths), and lawn/beach restoration. The one “beach” is small and the lawn is parched and full of stickers."

"The property was great for our family reunion. It got us all and we had a great time. The landscaping was beautiful. The pool area was very nice. The pickle ball court and outdoor ping pong were hits. Lots of life jackets of all sizes. The place was very clean. The property is impressive when you drive in. There are two onsite workers there all day, and one worker that seemed to stay all night. We didn’t expect to see someone there so late and so early in the morning. The benefit of the workers is they will lay out pool towels for you and can answer some questions that may arise. There were some maintenance issues. But overall we were happy to find a place that could fit all of us. Overall, we had a great time."

"We booked this house at the last minute! It was a great location near a boat dock where the kids caught fish! The house had three bedrooms and three bathrooms with all the amenities! Loved the kitchen, refrigerator with ice maker, and oven with built-in air fryer. The back porch provided a perfect outdoor area with a charcoal grill. The wrap around porch allowed us to have the perfect view of the lake and watch the deer in the yard. We also rented a boat nearby and spent a few hours on the lake. This house was the perfect weekend getaway! Kristen was easy to communicate with and a great host! We would definitely love to come back!"
