"What a fantastic house with a beautiful view of the sea and the mountains! The air conditioning in the (3) bedrooms is great for the sultry nights. The clean swimming pool is nice and refreshing during the day.The only downside we found was the crockery. The cutlery and the kettle were a bit rusty. The glasses, plates, and bowls felt rough due to limescale. The dishwasher couldn't get the items clean properly (because of this?).Several small (mostly pebble) beaches can be visited from the house. Water shoes are therefore handy. Unfortunately, we had forgotten them.You really notice that you are on a less touristy island, which we loved. There are plenty of nice restaurants nearby, even within walking distance.We also made use of the sports fields right outside the door.Renting a motorboat in Eretria was really great for us (a family with teenagers)!Regarding the rental car, in hindsight, I would have chosen an automatic. It requires quite a bit of shifting in this mountainous area.All in all, it was a top-notch holiday!"
