"Even though the staff was very polite and service oriented the building was old, the showers and bathrooms were community showers and bathrooms in each floor. In the shower the handles had mold. When anyone in the building open a faucet, flushed the toilet or showered you could hear it in the dinning room area located in the basement. "Everything from hotel staff, to amenities to location was phenomenal. My husband and I celebrated my birthday weekend here and it was a beautiful and relaxing weekend. The building is split between the hotel and residences. The floor for all hotel amenities and rooms is the 4th floor. Here is where the indoor bar, lounge, and outdoor pool and bar area is located. The hotel is kept very clean with lots of attentive staff! The outdoor patio and pool area was absolutely beautiful with lots of room for lunch, and a variety of comfy lounging options. The hotel embraced modern coastal vibes and had lots of live music options in the lounge area and at the outdoor patio. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable! There were lots of in-room amenities provided including hair dryer, espresso machine, safe, fridge, desk, slippers/robe, shampoo/conditioner/lotion, etc. if you needed a steamer or iron and ironing board, just call the front desk. We had a partial ocean view on the south side of the building and that was beautiful. We had a view of the Stone Pony and was able to sit out on the balcony for the outdoor concerts to listen to the music. The north side of the building faces a large construction zone - I would ask to NOT be on that side of the building. Locations— the hotel was located just across the street from the boardwalk and ocean. Also, within walking distance to great restaurants. Downtown area is about a 20 minute walk."

"We enjoyed our stay at this charming property. My family of 7 was here to attend a wedding and the property was perfect for us. It is close to the beach and was a short walk to Main Street in Ocean Grove and Asbury Park where we found numerous restaurants. Karan, our host, was very attentive and available to help with any questions we had. We would definitely stay at this property again!"

"We greatly enjoyed our stay at The Inn in Ocean Grove. Close to the beach and was easy to walk around town. We stayed in the BelCanto room - second floor facing front. There is a bit of an ocean view. There is also a cute little patio to step out and enjoy the view. Room was spacious enough for a two day stay. Bathroom is clean and efficient. Breakfast was lovely in the cute dining area on first floor. Ashley was super friendly and attentive as well as the rest of the staff. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend The Inn!"

"I am not a mean spirited person nor am I fussy. But I travel all the time and I grew up in Ocean Grove and my night at The Quaker Inn off season even was not good. For $300 my friend and I got a tiny room with two single beds, no view. When I asked for an upgrade, I got a lame excuse even though the place was empty. There was no hot water for the morning shower; no nice amenities like good soap or shampoos. Thin towels, a cheap blanket. No breakfast. One of those terrible capsule coffee machines. The host was a nice guy but clearly not doing much to make it a pleasant stay and trying to get as many tourists as possible in without making it nice for them. Three doors down another Inn is literally half the price and I got a huge gorgeous room with sea view, a king bed and a queen bed; beach towels; bikes; breakfast; even comp sunscreen and sunglasses! It just shows the thought behind making guests feel good. I was so disappointed by The Quaker Inn because I spent childhood going to dinners there - but I left feeling utterly ripped off and grumpy. Not nice for a price which is literally the same as staying in Manhattan (and it was early May so no excuses or high season). Lesson learnt!"
