The homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious and prepared with so much care – definitely one of the highlights of my stay. "The hotel was pretty good in general. Room was fine: very clean. Slightly old-school grandparent vibe instead of funky Newquay surfer vibe, and some of the fittings were slightly run down if you looked closely, but that's being really critical. Breakfast was excellent with unusually good veggie choices. Staff were helpful. The beach location was dramatic. It was quite pricey but I suppose that's the cost when staying in Newquay last minute during school holidays."

"We had a wonderful stay at Rocklands, loved every minute of it. The views from the property are just incredible. The property was very clean and had everything we could want, with the bonus of allocated parking. It is just minutes from all the shops and fun, but far enough to relax and unwind. Great communication with host. Highly recommend and we would love to visit again very soon!"

"Thank you kindly for a lovely break at your hotel.. Breakfast there was plenty of choice even if vegetarian. Served every morning by a very friendly kindly lady. The chamber staff were more than helpful and happy in their work smiling and always with morning pleasantries. The room was clean with quality bedlinnen a comfortable beds. A good clean bathroom with shower..Thank you all very much for a wonderful stay..Definitely recommend the Griffin"

"Overall lovely hotel with beautiful decor and facilities. Everywhere was very clean. The overflow car park still undergoing building works and £27 a day for parking is very overpriced. No toilet roll in our room. Very slow service at breakfast and ran out of milk at and could only offer oat milk. Seemed to be more waiting staff just stood around rather than serving"

Comfortable bed, bathroom small but adequate… in the heart of Newquay with lots of choices of restaurants, coffee shops and shops (there must have been 8 to 10 charity shops!!)! A great place to stay for our week’s holiday!"
