"Over all the hotel is good, it is in a great location and the staff were very friendly and professional. The room was good for an overnight stay and the food was good, with good portions. The downsides: toilet didn't work properly (reported) and the shower is on the small side; also there are no hooks or rails to hang coats / clothes from! The other downside particularly on the Friday night we stayed is that the bar was open to 1am and there was a live DJ; it was loud & interupted our sleep, & although it finished at midnight, people leaving were quite loud up to 1am. Overall OK but avoid the live music nights!"

"We had a lovely stay at Hook Cottage. The house was spotless, comfortable, warm, tastefully decorated and very quiet with it being set back from the road. Chipping Campden is beautiful and a convenient base to visit other nearby towns. We will definitely return. "
