Heads up for the two flights of stairs if you have heavy luggage and this place also can be a bit loud due to the motorcyclists zooming by outside. "We stayed at hotel Fenua for 3 nights in the romance suite during our 18 night honeymoon. Of the 7 lodgings we stayed at - this was by far the most unique place. Staff was very friendly & assisted with delivering early morning breakfast that we ordered the night prior. It has direct access to the water (but it is not very clear compared to some other parts of the lagoons). We were able to rent a kayak while here and also had one of our best spa sessions while on our trip. Fenua is one of a kind...

"When we located the property, it was a wonderful guest house. Note that guest houses have shared bathrooms and this one does not state that it has air conditioning. The proprietor was excellent and we loved being able to walk to the beach to snorkel!"

"The views were awesome, we had bungalow 1 right by the water. The cleaning staff was great ! I would stay here again. It had a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, so we were able to have breakfast and lunch at our room. Book the restaurants nearby ahead of time, it is not always possible to get reservations or get into some places."

This was our 2nd favorite lodging during our trip where we stayed at 7 different lodgings (only behind one of the 5 star resorts on bora bora). If we visited again we would choose Sofitel again over the other resorts on Moorea offering OWBs.
