"Surprisingly nice lobby and the desk people were among the world's best; seriously real, nice, friendly. My biggest objes=ction was the outside lack of care to cracking curbs and things that seniors like me and my wife might trip over; in serious need of re-doing. But I would certainly stay there again as a pit-stop on my way to points south. Why the F do they have to keep $100 for extended period of time? Sleezy."

"The staff was nice but the hotel smelled terrible upon walking in, like mildew. The elevator was sounded terrible, had a broken handle inside and it was also very dirty. The room was dirty and very poorly "updated". The bathroom woodwork not complete and had gaps, bathroom was dirty. I went and bought shower shoes to even take a shower. The pool was very dirty upon arrival but did get vacuumed during our stay. If you are booking wanting a pool this one has little sun any time of day and only a few outside chairs. Overall we were not happy with the stay and that was due to lack of cleanliness. Best thing about our stay was the friendliness of the staff."

"The room was disgusting. Stains on the bedding, the walls, the floors, everything. There were bugs, dead and alive throughout the room. If you try to inform the staff of the multiple issues they will brush it off and say “oh the maids are usually great”, truthfully the room looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since the hotel originally opened. Definitely not a clean or safe environment."

"We were in Gainesville for a week for UF graduation. This location was convenient to area attractions and the campus. The house was clean and well stocked with various necessities. The area was very quiet and safe. The hostess made sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend!"

"All basic amenities worked well within the house. Beds were comfortable, AC and fans kept the home nice and cool, and water pressure and hot water in master shower was great! Pool was not yet open for the season, but looked very nice and inviting! Owner was very responsive and friendly in all our communication. I had some feedback for small improvements that seemed genuinely received. Overall a good place for respite for our family during a busy weekend visit. Thank you for the stay!"
