"Extremely well maintained and well appointed apartment. We had one small issue with the doors which was rectified very quickly. Loved that there were plenty of mugs, glasses , plates etc as well as cooking equipment. I always think two dishwasher tablets is unnecessarily mean when its quite an expensive holiday but thats a small gripe!"

"The original brochure did not identify towels included so we brought our own, however this wasn’t necessary. The kitchen units had a skirt that was not fixed, the shower was outdated and very small for three of us who are over 6ft and the shower head wasn’t adjustable and the plug cap broken. The bath was good but would benefit from a shower. Not all the doors would open to outside as they had rusted.Everything was clean and we enjoyed our stay but a little bit of mainteneance and repair would go a long way."

"Super-well equipped and beautifully renovated. The owner has thought of everything so immediately felt like home and perfect for our stay with the extended family. The two front rooms in particular have lovely sunrise views over Slapton Ley. The kitchen setup is outstanding with good quality accesories ... about the only thing missing is an ice cream maker :)."

"Fantastic property and great communication from the host. Location is great, pub and cafe within a couple of minutes walk and allocated parking makes life very easy as so close to property. Would definitely recommend."

"We loved our stay at 10 At The Beach and didn’t want to leave at the end of our vacation. Lovely views of the sea and lake from the lounge bay window. Good pub , farm shop and cafe very close by. Comfortable beds. Plenty of crockery, cutlery etc. I had a couple of negatives: it was very hot weather and you could do with a fan in each bedroom. The fridge is small and there is no cupboard space to store any provisions you may bring with you, internet isn’t great but better on the beach! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend."

"USP of this apartment is its great location by the beach. I loved the views of the beach from the bedroom and lounge. Great bathroom and very pleasant bedrooms. However we were disappointed that it wasn’t a Tassimo coffee maker as advertised because we purchased some pods in advance as suggested. There was a Dolce Gusto machine instead with a generous supply of pods but unfortunately it didn’t seem to be working."

"Wonderful house with fabulous view. But considering the otherwise excellent quality of a house for 12 people it is very poorly equipped in several respects. Only one small cafetière. Very few normal tumbler glasses, none matching. A miscellaneous motley bunch of cutlery from various sets. Several normal kitchen utensils absent. Also the “windows” which are wierd sliding doors are very hard to operate. And the “ample parking for 3 cars” would only suit very small cars. (The guide in the house says there’s space for 4 cars which is a lie.)"

"We stayed at no17 at the end of November (during some really severe storms). The property was easy to locate and ready for our arrival with keys on a lockbox. The property is really well located literally 2 mins from Torcross Beach, and the local pub. The car park is not attached and our property was up a few steps. The property is well presented and fully equipped with everything you could need. A nice welcome basket , tea coffee etc and lots of leaflets etc also provided. This is one of the most comfortable beds and duvet I have ever slept in. 2 bathrooms, one with jacuzzi bath, other with large shower. The property was warm and quiet even through the very bad storms We had a brief power cut which affected the boiler . I called the number provided and had immediate response, and the issue was resolved immediately. We will definitely be back"
