Hot water is very sporadic. If you are lucky, you can shower in the middle of the day. Morning and night will all depend on the availability. And the availability is very limited.

Great location, easy walking. Amazing breakfast! And Wolf and the crew make an amazing stay in Easter island! Our pre-booked tour cancelled on us the morning we arrived, the Taura’a staff organized a full day highlights tour before we finished our breakfast, and we had an amazing time! Totally saved our trip.

We LOVED our stay here! From the pre-check in communication to our ride back to the airport to go back to Santiago, it was amazing. Wolf, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure we had an incredible trip. The breakfast was wonderful, the fellow guests were great too! The location is super convenient to walk everywhere (with a mini market across the street as well). Don’t hesitate to book here- you will be well taken care of. We miss it already!

From the time we were picked up from the airport with beautiful throughout the while stay everything just went perfect! Taura'a is perfect. If you want to support Rapa Nui people, and get a true flavor for the island, this is the place to be. Manager Wolf and staff connect you to the history and culture of Rapa Nui, and make every aspect of the trip amazing. The breakfasts are extraordinary, too!

Great hotel. Grounds are covered in beautiful gardens and flowers. Location is great - walkable to most everywhere in Rapa Nui. Rooms have Air Conditioning and solid WiFi, which are tough to find on Easter Island. Special thanks to Edith, who assisted with tours and also cooks an amazing breakfast.

This hotel is a lovely property owned by an English speaking couple. It is in a very convenient part of town, and is in a beautiful part of the island. One big bonus is air conditioning and the home cooked breakfast each morning is amazing! They made it a lovely stay.

Amazing place to stay with all the amenities one needs. Edith is a 5 Star Host and her breakfasts are legendary. Hotel Taura'a is downtown Hanga Roa and walkable to everything; shops, restaurants, and harbor. Beautiful Grounds and lanai to relax. Highly Recommend, and don't forget to ask about Abuelita Taura'a.:-)

I really enjoyed my stay. Edith took the time make me a wonderful healthy breakfast every morning that was fresh and tasty with great coffee. She also spent some time telling me about her family history on the island which was truly fascinating. An airport pickup and drop off was also included. Thanks Edith!

This is a lovely and very convenient place to stay. But the REAL attraction is Edith, the owner. She is a delightful women whose attention to detail and her guests is almost unprecedented in my experience. Like most hotels, even the nicest ones, I'll eventually forget the details. But I wont forget Edith. She made this a memorable stay.

This hotel is definitely 5 star. Anybody who wants to visit Easter Island and get that off their bucket list should stay here. Edith, the owner/manager picked us up at the airport and checked us in and fed us free excellent breakfast every day. The rooms are nice, air conditioned with free wifi. the hotel is centrally located and you can walk to everything good in Hanga Roa. Our tour operator picked us up and took us to all the good stuff and dropped us off at the hotel...After our vacation was over Edith drove us back to the airport....our vacation could not have gone better and Tauraa hotel is inexpensive when compared to others in the area. Edith is also of native Rapa Nui ancestry and can answer any question you have about Easter Island. If you are planning on visiting Easter Island, you really do need to stay here and I don't review many places I have been to and when I do I'm usually posting bad things but there is nothing bad at all about Easter island, Tauraa Hotel or Edith...I highly recommend to everyone!!!

Edith and Bill were wonderful hosts. They met us at the airport and took up back for our return flight. The breakfast provided is wonderful. The rooms are simple, comfortable and air condited with lovely verandas to sit out side and seating in a lovely outdoor lobby . When we were on the islandt.our plane was canceled creating chaos as almost all hotels in town were full. Despite being full Edith found a way to accommodate us speaking with other guests. I am.in my 60s, did not have camping gear so it would have been difficult for me to sleep all night outside or on the condrete as it is a very small airport. I am grateful for all they did for us during our stay and highly recommend this hotel, which is small and more like a very comfortable and veey welcoming homestay.

Our hostess Edith is a TREASURE! We chose Hotel Tauraa for the photos of the beautifully landscaped grounds, with many sculptures and tropical plants. We never imagined how welcome and cared-for we would feel during our 3-night stay. First, we didn’t expect to be greeted at the airport with leis made by Edith from materials in her own garden. We missed out on that by hurrying out to begin the 15-minute walk to the hotel, but we still got the leis. ;) At the hotel, she immediately offered fresh juice and wanted to be sure that we had pre-booked tours of the island and artifacts, which we hadn’t. She immediately got on the phone to a couple of her best tour contacts and managed to book 2 days with Claudio who miraculously had a cancellation and was able to give us a private tour on both days (we could a whole review on how great HE was). We recommend contacting Edith after booking the hotel to ask her to arrange tours for you. The made-to-order breakfasts were artistically arranged, extravagant and delicious, including fresh-fruit smoothies. When we had a problem with our room’s refrigerator, Edith came right over and swapped it out. Her husband Bill is friendly, charming and helpful. We hope you have the opportunity to enjoy a unique island experience on Rapa Nui, which staying at Hotel Tauraa.

出色の朝食

毎朝心のこもった朝食。ウェルカムドリンクや朝食で出てくるスムージーはグアバやバナナなど島産の果物から作られる。朝から数種類のフレッシュなフルーツも供され、十分なボリュームが期待できる。 WiFiが各部屋でつながらないことが残念。ただし、ロビーではくつろいだ環境でWiFiが楽しめる。
