"Great location. The hotel is nondescript and has no signage indicating its presence. Very good breakfast. You’ll hear lots of bird sounds there including roosters that start their cries very early in the morning. There are other residences around the hotel, so you’ll hear their sounds as well, including their late-night music and banter. "

"What a wonderful stay we had. We were greeted by Valentina at the airport with flower wreaths and given a quick tour of the city prior to being brought to the hotel. The check in process was very nice and calming with a welcoming juice and treat by Patricia. She took our photo for part of a departing surprise. "The staff was amazing, especially Sofia. The breakfast was incredible and service was incredible. Other food fir purchase items were also delicious. Great suggestions on things to do and places to eat. Also fantatsic at making driver arrangements for airport pickup, winery tours, etc. The place has such a cool vibe and the views are stunning. During the day you can walk down through the neighborhood tonshop, eat and site see, but highly advise using ride service (Uber) any time after dusk. "

"By mainland standards, this is an unusual property. There is no signage indicating the hotel. The hotel is up a hilly driveway and what looks like the lobby near street level is for a different hotel. The owners and staff are very nice and live on the property, which is in a relatively quiet residential neighborhood. The hotel has a nice breakfast but they do not provide eggs. "Taha Tai is within walking distance to restaurants, supermarkets and downtown area. Continental breakfast at the hotel restaurants is right by the ocean with a great view of the blue waters of the pacific. The additional benefit of staying at Taha Tai is that they can arrange tours for you and you are picked up at the hotel. "
