The Neighborhood Hotel-New Buffalo

"I would have given this property 4-5 stars except for the customer service. The fire alarms went off 3 times in our 2 night stay at approx 4am, 6pm, then again at 11pm. Other guests who stayed there tried to contact someone and had a very difficult time getting through. We never did receive an answer why they went off. This is very disruptive as we were already asleep 2 of the 3 times, and it is concerning that no staff was available to figure out what the issue was."

"This is a serene and peaceful cottage close to the beach. It is within walking distance to a great restaurant as well as a corner grocery store should you need anything. We were able to take nightly walks around the beautiful neighborhood. We slept very well as it was so comfortable, quiet, and relaxing! Will definitely stay there again. It’s a great location if you intend to visit New Buffalo, Warren Dunes State Park, or the St. Joe area (which we went to all three). Communication with the host was easy and he gets back with you quick. Our host made sure we had instructions on everything to make checking in and out effortless."

Amorini House! Absolutely Beautiful With Pool And Olympic Size Volleyball Court

"Amorini house was perfect for our multigenerational family gathering (8 adults, 2 children). It is cozy and fun and eclectic, which made it feel sort of like we were staying at a friend's house. There was plenty of room for all of us including all of the baby stuff for an 8 month old. The open layout made connecting easy, and there were also extra spaces to spread out (sun room, game/TV room, several beautiful outdoor spaces). The downstairs bedroom was perfect for my 90 year old father; away from the commotion and he didn't have to navigate the staircase. The kitchen has everything you could need; it is well organized and easy to use. We loved that the tables (indoor and out) were big enough for all of us to eat together. Elena was very helpful and responsive. She gave great suggestions for making our stay go smoothly and for things to do in the area. She loves that house and it shows in how it is taken care of. Check the list of guest expectations before you book; it's more extensive than most VRBOs. Also, the central air is weaker upstairs so there are 2 bedrooms with window air conditioners. We kept plenty cool in early June, but on really hot days you might need to keep bedroom doors open at night. Maybe bring slippers with grips or house shoes; floors and stairs are hardwood. Overall this place is phenomenal! If we come back to the area, we would definitely stay here again, except longer so we can take advantage of everything it has to offer."

"Friendly staff, clean rooms. Would recommend a stay. My only “complaint “ would be that the breakfast area closes at nine, not being an early riser 10 would be nice instead. Coffee was freely available in the lobby though."

Lakeside Grove Cottage - Perfect Lakeside Village/Beach Location

"Cannot rave enough about Lakeside Grove! It is a gem! Cottage is well appointed and obviously loved. Clean, inviting and had everything we could wish for. Close enough to walk to a small beach from cottage and easy access to larger beaches, great restaurants and a bike trail right outside your front door practically. So glad we got to stay here! Hope to come back many times!"

"Great place to stay! The pool was great and we were just a short golf cart ride to everything. Perfect trip and house for our family!"

"It was overall a good experience! The room was clean and orderly but the only issue my girlfriend and I ran into was some bugs that were in the jacuzzi tub. These bugs were present in the jets as they only appeared after we had started to fill it up. We were only staying for a night so it only slightly disturbed our stay."
