"Great location in Kamakura that's near the train. There's plenty of food options nearby along with a small grocery store. Area is super quiet both during the day and night. "We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from Shiomi Station, and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there were English-speaking staff available, which made communication easy. The hotel was very clean, and our room was surprisingly large and comfortable, especially for Tokyo. Breakfast was great with a good variety of options. Having a convenience store attached to the hotel was also super convenient, especially when travelling with a child. The bath house was spacious and such a nice way to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The Sagawa luggage booth in the lobby was another great convenience, especially for sending luggage ahead to our next hotel. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay. We would definitely stay here again!"

A little thing to improve I guess if you install a smart TV that can sign in to Netflix or YouTube generally."

"This was my first time staying at the Valia Hotel in Tokyo. I also stayed at the one in Osaka during my travel to Japan (2026). It is conveniently located near a train station, bus station, a major shopping mall, and theater. The room size was what I am used to back in the States. The staff were very helpful in answering questions and providing information as requested. The space was beautiful. I had requested an allergens free room, but I don't think it was since I had a hard time sleeping in the room. But, it could just have been the carpet. The airpurifier provided did help a little, but it was still a struggle. If you don't have a need for allergens free space, this hotel is for you!"
