A Fantastic Stay at WeBase Kamakura! We had an absolutely wonderful time at WeBase Kamakura. The customer service was outstanding from the moment we arrived – truly some of the best we've experienced! Our room was incredibly nice and comfortable, providing the perfect relaxing space after a day of exploring. Plus, you can't beat being so close to the beach! The amenities were excellent too, adding to a thoroughly enjoyable and convenient stay.

Highly recommended stay in Kamakura!

This hotel was very nice and felt like a boutique luxury hotel. I was very surprised by the amenities including the breakfast as well as the lounge. The service by the staff was excellent as well and very friendly to English speakers. Finally the location is just a short walk away from the enoden station and very close to the beach. If I ever stay in Kamakura again I will book the same hotel.

Really nice stay!

I had a very pleasant stay! I happened to have a quiet room and it was very clean too. I really liked the surroundings of the hotel, lovely narrow streets and it was nice and peaceful. Spa downstairs was nice and I loved the outfits that you can wear at the hotel. Will come back!

Beautiful property just minutes walk to the beach and other notable points of interests in Kamakura. The staff were incredibly accommodating and the restaurant served a delicious happy hour and breakfast. The room is on the small side but adequate for a short stay. Very clean. Onsen in the basement was lovely too! Was never crowded and I had the place to myself both visits.

We found our stay at WeBase Kamakura extremely pleasant. We would like to praise above all the very friendly and helpful staff including those at the reception desk and at the hotel restaurant. We found the room spotless clean and the beds very comfortable. We also appreciate the free services that the hotel offers including the public bath and the lounge which unfortunately we did not have time to fully experience during our short stay. The only minor suggestion from us would be for the hotel to maybe offer a choice between buffet or set menu breakfast. While we really enjoyed the set menu breakfast, this does entail adhering to a reserved time slot. Because we were offered very similar choices of set menu for two consecutive days, we would have probably preferred the availability of more varied set options or the possibility of a buffet breakfast that does not require prior reservation. We are very happy with our stay here overall!

Happy in Kamakura

It was great. Wonderful, friendly and thoughtful staff. Front desk was great help with so many questions. It's nice that some staff did not speak English, and some did very well. One morning my daughter was exhausted and couldn't make breakfast. Without asking the chef packed her a special to go breakfast that was perfect and amazing. Arigato gozaimasu Kamakura WeBase.... The new beds and feather pillows were difficult for us to sleep on. Futon firmness and personal preferences.

The hotel is located near a train station and to the beach. The hotel provides a great lunch and drink service. The rooms are small but that is expected here in Japan. There is also a public bath but I didn’t use it as I wqs only there one night.

Our first visit to Japan began with 3 nights in Kamakura, a beautiful small coastal city. We chose WeBase due its great overall location and its proximity to Yuigahama station. The hotel is tucked away down a quiet street and you’d miss the entrance if you didn’t know it was there. Rooms are spotless and modern. The breakfast galettes were incredible and the breakfast service was one of the highlights of our trip. We will definitely stay there again!

大変お世話になりました。スタッフの方々の対応も丁寧ですし、端々にサービスが行き届いております。何しろお料理の時間が楽しく美味しく、素晴らしいステイでした。 ただ、ラウンジ近くにスロープ化してあるところはありましたが、他にも出入り口に向かうにもレストランに向かうにも段差がありました。どうしようもない事かもしれませんがあちこちの段差の解消やスロープ化、又はせめて一見して段差と分かる色替えがされていると若い人達だけでなく元気な高齢者にも安心して楽しめるいいお宿とオススメしやすくなりますので、その点解消されることを願います。(私自信腰痛持ちで二度ほどつまづきかけました)
