"Camptel Poconos was a major success. My wife, son, small dog and myself did a quick 2 nighter and we're super happy with everything the place had to offer. It's clean, quiet and stacked with little extras that make the line between camping and the indoors defined but accessible. The grounds are so nice. We particularly enjoyed the giant dartboard, the hammocks and the string lights that stay on all the time 😄 We will absolutely return in the future."

"The property, itself, was very clean, tidy, and had all of the amenities for a longer stay - our stay was only 3 days and 2 nights. The neighborhood is a very quiet community where everyone felt safe. The adjacent property to one side is still wild, with homes spread at a good distance apart and a lot of wildlife to see, so it gave you more of a cabin feel as opposed to a suburb feel. The dogs loved the fenced-in backyard and the town of Jim Thorpe is close by, as are several outdoor activities (rafting, kayaking, hiking, etc), so everyone in our group was happy.Instructions for the home were very clear and there was ample communication ahead of our stay, detailing what to expect and our host was helpful whenever we had questions. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Beautiful home with everything promised in the listing. It is a wooded area - so you may see wildlife (deer, raccoons, and bears - though we didn't actually see any bears :) The raccoons taught us on the first night not to leave anything that might smell like food outside.It is a lovely home and well layout for large groups/families - we had ten high school boys on a school trip and they LOVED it! (we spent five days/four nights and never ran out of something to do!Gave it five stars because they didn't offer TEN as an option!!"

"Check-in is a breeze. There is no gate to Towamensing Trails, so as long as your vehicles are pre-registered, the parking tags found in the rental packet inside the front door are all you need. The 8 lanyards with the community passes are right there, too. Very easy to find. The passes are required to use the pool/lake. There are no pool chairs available to use, and the house had none to offer, so bring your own if you plan to enjoy the pool. The house is nice and could easily accommodate a couple families with several kids. The main reason for the low cleanliness score was the amount of active and abandoned spiderwebs in every room of the house. I know it's the Poconos and there are lots of bugs, but clearly no one is taking a dust broom to any of the corners of the walls, floors, or ceilings. Also, June is high pollen season, and the balcony sure showed it while we were there. It was basically unusable without sweeping it off, but the house had no broom. 6 spent a Dollar General and a little elbow grease fixed that pretty quick. The kitchen is well-appointed, but there is almost no space to store food except the refrigerator. We ended up piling most of our dry goods on the dining table. Overall, it was nice and relaxing. Lots of wildlife walking through the neighborhood. Pretty quiet and easy to get around."
