"Guest was very helpful and nice with us. Old school that became a guest house. Would appreciate a freezer and an oven, only a toaster and a microwave was available. Only coffee available was instant coffee. Rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable."

"I don’t always give 5 stars across the board in a review but I will for Hotel Lauker. We were very comfortable for our 3 nights here. Stayed in one of the bright yellow cabins which was spacious and had a lovely view of the river and horses and a nice bench and deck outside and quite comfy sitting area inside. All of the staff we met were friendly and helpful and happy to have a conversation. The breakfast and dinner were both delicious. I definitely recommend and we’d stay here again."

"We booked this location last minute and didn't see the check-in email about needing a mountain bus ticket, or an atv to get to the property, until the last bus had already left. The staff, office, and Expedia were very helpful and gave us a refund for our room. We would like to come back some day and experience the volcano huts properly."

"Wonderful stay at Freya Farm! Jon and his family were readily available and accommodating throughout our stay (even though we had a very late arrival time). Lovely breakfast spread and hosts were keen on ensuring our time in Iceland was memorable. Would highly recommend to those visiting the Golden Circle or the Highlands."

"The hotel is excellent! Easy to check in and out. It has everything you need! The kitchen and dining room are very nice and cozy. The owners are very friendly and kind. They hand made waffles for every guest, and table were set like a real restaurant! Thank you so much for your hospitality!"

"The breakfast was exceptional. There was an amazing variety, kept well stocked by a very pleasant, helpful and capable woman. All the staff were very welcoming and polite. The recommendation for a restaurant nearby the evening we arrived was superb. Best lamb we have ever had. The setting of the hotel was beautiful and peaceful. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay again some time."
