Surrounded by woodland, wildlife, goats, ducks and chickens with the beach, pub, and cafe a short stroll. Pick up a lobster or crab, bbq in your private garden, and gaze at our clear night skies! Watch out for cheeky badgers and deer too.....
Purpose built cottage style 2 bedroom cottage, with plenty of space to play and enjoy, and a private garden with seating, bbq, and lighting.

We had a very nice stay in 'Poppy'. Very friendly hosts, clean, cosy apartment, with beautiful surroundings: the village of Cadgwith is beautiful, and so are the walks you can make directly from the doorstep. Would reccommend it to anyone.

Detour to a little paradise

We were simply delighted at beautiful Poppy Cottage, and ever since our vacation, we've been dreaming of our days in Cadgwith – the children of three patiently loving goats and thrilling railway toys, the adults of this wonderful accommodation, lovingly furnished down to the last detail, where you can't help but feel at home. (oh yes, we did!) Everything is just right here. Above all, we'd like to thank Paula and her family. You couldn't have received a warmer welcome!

A real home away from home.

A lovely, well maintained cottage set away from the road and near the SW Coast path. Very clean and well equipped, very welcoming (the cream tea was lovely). A lot of thought had been given to providing the little extras, including accurate and humorous directions, which put us firmly in the holiday mood.

The coach house

A lovely cottage in beautiful countryside with some tantalising views of f the sea. The cottage was warm and welcoming - a great place from which to explore the Lizard and to walk our socks off! Our dog was initially unsure about the goats!

Lovely Place, Ideal to explore the Lizard

Very comfortable, all the essentials you need, good Wifi to keep the kids happy, Great location for access to the coastal path. Cadgwith is a lovely little village. Lizard 10 mins away by car. St Michaels Mount about 40mins drive. We were lucky with the weather for a pre-Easter break with very few people around. Very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable break.

Best doggie holiday ever

Excellent property, clean and perfect for our doggies. Area was beautiful so many beach coves to visit, fun was had by all. Would highly recommend.

The Coach House, Poppy Cottage

The cottage was an ideal location & well appointed. Directly on the coast path and a short walk into the fishing village of Cadgwith, with a welcoming village pub. The accomodation is a short drive to nearby beaches suitable for swimming & other water sports.

A great find - Poppy Cottage

It was a great find for exploring the Lizard. Both the property and grounds were immaculate. The accommodation had everything we needed and it was beautifully decorated. The welcome scones were a lovely touch. It was lovely to have the animals so close to the property. The host was also very welcoming. I would definitely recommend this property and we would love to return sometime.sconesdecorated

Beautiful place to stay

We lived the property and it was exactly how it was described online. Paula was great and welcomed us graciously. It was a short yet steep walk to the village and they also had a walking path as well if you prefer to take that. We loved it and highly recommend it.

Poppy Cottage

Endearing, cosy little Cottage with everything that we would like in a self catering unit. Communication, arrival information and directions were clear and concise. Beautifully maintained garden with it's own footpath onto the SW Coastpath.

Wunderbare Ferienunterkunft

Ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus, bis ins Detail liebevoll hergerichtet, alles nötige vorhanden. Die Unterkunft eignet sich ideal für Menschen, die auf dem coast path wandern, wenn man müde nach Hause kommt, kann man sich in sehr weichen Sofas und Betten einkuscheln. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, dafür gibt es aber auch keine Einkaufsmöglichkeit in der Nähe. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber!
