"The cottage was decorated and designed to an extremely high standard giving a warm and welcoming feel . All furniture and fittings were of a very high standard . For practicality reasons a few basic additions would have been useful. A bowl for the sink if needed , coasters for drinks and oven gloves. There was no instructions for removal of rubbish or recycling. The hot water was far to hot , almost at boiling point. That said we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return someday."

"We enjoyed our time in Tetbury and the cottage was in a great location. There were 2 of us plus a dog that stayed, and whilst it had two more bedrooms, it would have been very cosy for 5 people with a steep staircase and just one small bathroom/toilet. The photos on the website looked great but did find the property a little tired and in need of a good clean (tissues and empty vape wrappers under the bed, hairs in the bathroom). Bed was very comfortable and lovely to be left firewood and a bottle of wine - lovely touch. I would recommend it as such a great location, but thought the photos made it look nicer than it actually was."

"We enjoyed a very relaxing week at Lilly Bee Cottage. The cottage is very well equipped and had everything we needed. It's been renovated to a very high standard. Sherston is a lovely village - in the perfect place to explore Bath, as well as the lower Cotswolds. The village pub is excellent. The only downside of staying was that the cottage got cold very quickly. Staying in cooler weather you will definitely need the wood burner going, which you have to provide your own wood for. The central heating didn't seem to warm the cottage very effectively. If you stayed in warmer weather this wouldn't be an issue!"

"We had the most wonderful stay in Sherston. The house is a quintessential Cotswold cottage, and exactly what we were hoping for. Rupert is an excellent host, and communication was quick and easy. The bedrooms are all surprisingly large, and the kitchen was very well equipped. I am from the Cotswolds and knew exactly what to expect. For others unfamiliar with homes of this age, the stairs may be a surprise, as they are quite steep and winding, and require care navigating. Overall we had a fantastic stay and highly recommend this home. Thank you, Rupert."
