"The equipment in the gym did not work. The guy checking in was nice and good. The other lady and the guy checking out wasn't too friendly. The lady I had when I had asked her for a plunger and towel grab them both for me. When I brought down my used towels and my plunger she told me to go into a room and put them back as well as put the towels in a bin. I think if you pay $700 to stay here you should get better service but that's just me. The pool was also cold but that's to be expected. And I also had to empty out my garbage."

"We had a lovely time at Hope Lake Lodge. My issue was with Expedia! They booked us into a room that the lodge no longer had available. We ended up in a smaller room. The staff at the lodge told us they had been dealing with Expedia’s screw up all day long!"

"We stayed there with my adult children. We all travel frequently for work yet none of us had every stayed in a more inviting and beautiful home as the Country Lodge. It was large enough for us all to have privacy, to have space for cooking, playing games, working out, reading and knitting in front of the fireplace. We also enjoyed walking in their woods to the waterfall in the early evening as the snow gently fell. Then coming home to the warm inviting space the hosts provided us. Our mission was to see the waterfalls in the state parks of the area. they were amazing. Definitely worth the trip, and the peaceful snowy trek up and down mountain paths. An inspiring way to start the new year. We all arrived at different times from different location and the proximity to the Syracuse airport (20 minutes) was extremely helpful. We look forward to returning and thank the hosts for all their courtesy and attention to detail for us to have a memorable time together (We also thank them for the fresh eggs and honey, produced on their land.)"
