The room was very wheelchair friendly. The shower was accessible and even the shower had a shower chair. It was a great place for a stop over and reasonably priced. There a few places in town to eat but if you want some different foods you will have to do some travel to other towns. Will make it a stop over when traveling again.

Family Reunion

I was comfortable and slept well in my room. The bed was great and the noise was minimal since I had a room away from the highway intersection. I had hot water and clean sheets and towels. The owners/operators and housekeeping staff were friendly. The motel is old; I remember when it was built in the late 70’s (or so). It is adequate basic accommodations for Homer and surrounding towns. It’s sad to see once vibrant small North Louisiana towns like Homer in Claiborne Parish dwindling in size, population, opportunities, and retail/restaurant options.

Bathroom fixtures falling off wall. Dirty floors. Curtains and shades filthy and hanging by a thread. Phone is useless. Can’t reach anyone. Towels worn out. Water for shower tepid at best. Beware. Bathtub extremely slippery. My sister fell. Got hurt. Sliver of a bath soap. Won’t stay here again. Paid for extra day but didn’t stay. Just couldn’t. Went home. Kid in office useless.

Front door was unsecure no safety lock, bathtub felt like you were gonna fall through, had a bad smell and the sheets and blankets were hard need some fabric softener
