Nice, clean and priced great

Booked last minute to meet friends for lunch the following day. I was a little nervous about booking site unseen but pleasantly surprised when I arrived. Room was clean and comfortable without being crowded. Great price also. Lotus Inn is right off of the highway so it’s convenient to get to.

Reasonable overnight stay

Hotel & room were worth the stay based on cost. However, main complaint is the smell probably due to room being for smokers & carpet retaining the order. Also shower drapes need to be replaced with something of better Quality which is a low cost fix. Finally, didn't use breakfast since could tell it was just basic coffee, toast, & oatmeal.

My husband and I stayed here for my mother in laws birthday weekend. I was a little nervous the room wouldn’t look like the pictures but it actually met my expectations. We had a kitchenette in our room and I was able to comfortably finish my cake for my mother in law. The only thing I would advise is to close the kitchen door to keep the room cool since the room is big with a window unit AC near the door. My husband left the kitchen door open and it got kinda hot in our room but we kept the door closed and kept cool throughout night. Our stay was comfortable and we plan to return again when we come down to Houston again.

The customer service was great! Unfortunately it’s a dilapidated place trying to upgrade so things weren’t “great.” The room is huge with a separate kitchen room attached divided by a door. Unfortunately my room had outlets which were cracked or missing. Door handle for the bathroom was broken. I found a dirty condom behind my dresser which the front desk took care of. It was average. However the area it’s in, can’t really complain. It was sufficient in providing its purpose. Convenient and secure.

Our experience was not as bad as some of the other comments; however, you get what you pay for. The room was worn down and the mattress was on the cheaper side. Pillows were flat also. The staff was friendly, and towels were changed daily. The driveway was a hassle, and have to enter through a gas station, so pay extra attention when exiting. I would advise to keep any valuables with you and do not leave them in the room.
