"Lovely, peaceful locationOnly a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Horning, with its shops/coffee houses/pubs and other eateries, you will find South Wood.The charming, wooden, upside-down house is in an excellent location.The upper floor has a cosy feel, with the balcony at each end of the room offering wonderful, interesting views.The lower floor provided comfortable, spacious bedrooms. On a couple of occasions, when opening the curtains in the morning, we were greeted by a male & female swan and their family of eight very young cygnets just below our bedroom window. Claire was an excellent host. We were confident she was a phone call away should we have any problems. The welcome gifts of Prosecco and chocolates were much appreciated. Thank you ClaireWe enjoyed our stay at South Wood so much that we have already booked to return next May. This will be the first time we have ever returned to a self-catering, holiday home…. it was that good! "
