"I liked this hotel, and it is in a great location. We had 2 rooms with sea views, and that was great. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful and the staff were generally fantastic. I had a bit of an issue the first night with our room and wind whistling through a window, but I was moved with no qualms to a much bigger room that was much better. I believe this was a family room. The hotel is a bit of a warren to navigate as it is quite sprawling, but this is a minor thing in my eyes. I would go back"

"Excellent gull cottage is ideal location clean and everything you need excellent host we have stayed here for the third time so that speaks for itself there is a sainsburys just across the road and just a short walk to beach and it’s nice and quiet but central to bus station and all the shops lovely cottage thanks again Karen we will be back next year it was lovely to be back @gull cottage its a hidden gem we love it "

"Hotel was in a great location the staff were friendly room was basic but clean with a nice comfy bed there was tea coffee and complimentary water The shower was a bit temperamental running hot and cold The toilet was quite loose the screws were hanging out also the window wouldn't open as the handle was broke but I only mentioned this in checkout but this didn't bother me I'm sure they would have sorted it or moved me to another room if I would have asked them at the beginning For the price I paid it was good value compared to other hotels and if visiting Newquay again I would quite happily book this hotel again"
