"The property is at the base of Tropea, the village, facing the beach. The property provides gated private parking and you can swim in the most prisitine blue mediterranean water or go up to the village by foot. The host is super nice as well as the staff. Very peaceful place in a bustling summer location."

"I have stayed in many bed and breakfast hotels across Europe and Italy. This is by far the best I have ever stayed. The location is not super fantastic. It’s next to a main road but we can’t hear anything in the room. The room is simple but super super clean and well maintained. Comes with very clean toilet and shower. Mini fridge. Our window looks out to groves of olive tree. Highly recommended!"

The description says there is a beach, there is no beach on property or walkable. We had an amazing dinner at Portale nearby recommended and arranged by owner. Amazing dinner but no real town to walk about. This is a great place if you have a car and want to explore nearby beaches. Close to the train station. "A lovely place to stay just outside of Tropea with excellent traansport links. There is a small beach down the cliff side which leads onto another spectacular beach wirh snorkelling. The staff were excellent and very accomadating. Lots of food options around the town. "
